February is still winter season in Savannah, so temperatures are still quite low, ranging from 7 to 18 degrees Celsius. Rainy days, meanwhile, can range from 5 to 7 days during the month.

During the month of February the cloud cover is quite heavy so most of the month the sky remains very cloudy. Throughout the month you will notice that the wind is constant and intense.

February tourist numbers in Savannah

As it is still winter in Savannah you are likely to find a fairly low number of tourists, which is a real advantage as you will have a better chance of finding seats and tickets for the various attractions and festivals. You'll also be able to find great deals on tickets.

The biggest advantage of Savannah's low tourist numbers in February is that you will be able to find accommodation quickly and if you haven't booked in advance, your chances of finding tickets on the doorstep of attractions are greater.

What should I pack for a trip to Savannah in February?

Since you'll be travelling in the winter season, coats, boots and jackets are a must. You should also pack warm pyjamas, as temperatures can drop even lower at night.

I also recommend bringing hats and even sunglasses to protect you from the wind. Don't forget to include comfortable shoes among the things to bring on your trip, because some activities require you to walk or stand for a long time.
