Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento Day Trip from Pompeii

This excursion to Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento from Pompeii is a convenient way to discover some of the most iconic spots on the Amalfi Coast and the Sorrento Peninsula without having to worry about parking, traffic, tickets or public transport connections.

The tour begins in Sorrento, where you’ll have free time to stroll through its historic centre, visit its viewpoints and explore the traditional shops specialising in limoncello, one of the area’s most iconic drinks. A tasting of local limoncello is included in the experience.

You’ll then continue by minibus to Positano, the famous village of colourful houses built on the hillside. You’ll have time to explore it at your own pace, head down to the beach or simply enjoy its narrow streets and terraces. From here, the journey continues by sea to Amalfi, sparing you the need to climb Positano’s numerous steps again and allowing you to enjoy the coastline from a privileged vantage point.

In Amalfi, you’ll have approximately 2 hours of free time to explore the historic centre, visit the famous Duomo at your leisure, head down to the beach or sample some local specialities. At the end of your visit, the driver will collect you to begin the return journey to the starting point.
